S.E.A. FAIR at Camden-Rockport Middle School, May 30
On Friday, May 30, from 12 to 4 p.m., the Camden-Rockport Middle School, at 34 Knowlton St., in Camden, will host a free afternoon of learning and fun, open to all.
Meet representatives from over a dozen environmental organizations, connect with experts and enjoy a wide range of activities.
Learn what conservation projects are happening, get involved in local initiatives and explore how to take action.
View the projects that CRMS students have been doing and see how all are working to foster good stewardship of the environment.
S.E.A. FAIR, presented by the Stewardship Education Alliance and sponsored by the First National bank will celebrate the fourth year of environmental engagement.
Participating local and national organizations include:
Herring Gut Coastal Science Center, Coastal Mountains Land Trust, University of Maine 4-H Learning Center at Tanglewood and Blueberry Cove, CamdenCan Climate Action, The Center for Wildlife Studies, Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership, Merryspring Nature Center, Knox-Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation, Rockport Conservation Commission, Coastal Children’s Museum, Sun Dog, Roots n Shoots After School Care and Yoga ,and S.E.A. Marine Touch Tank.
Student groups participating are:
Middle School – Environmental Club, Science Classes, Art, and Social Studies offering a wide range of relevant environmental topics.
